Dr. Ami Amin is a board-certified Endocrinologist and Obesity Medicine Specialist who provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of endocrine and metabolic conditions. She has a special interest in weight management and is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans that emphasize lifestyle modification and evidence-based medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her medical degree from the University of Lublin, followed by an internal medicine residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and an endocrinology fellowship at Albany Medical Center. Offering care primarily through telehealth visits for patient convenience, Dr. Amin is also available in person twice a month at our Burlington office. Shannon O’Brien is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing exclusively in diabetes management at Advocare DelGiorno Endocrinology. She provides comprehensive care for individuals with type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes, offering advanced expertise in insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology. Before joining Advocare in 2019, she served as the head of the Insulin Pump Program at the University of Pennsylvania, where she helped patients with type 1 diabetes transition into adult endocrinology care. Her background combines extensive clinical experience with a patient-centered approach that emphasizes education, empowerment, and sustainable self-management. Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She primarily provides in-person care at our Turnersville office and also offers telehealth appointments upon patient request to ensure convenient access to individualized, evidence-based diabetes care.
