Dr. Ami Amin is a graduate of Rutgers University, Dr. Amin completed her Endocrinology Fellowship at Albany Medical Center, in Albany, NY. She has expertise in managing complex insulin regimens and insulin pumps, as well as reading thyroid ultrasounds, thyroid biopsy, and a breadth of other endocrinologic conditions.

Shannon O’Brien is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who has been a valued member of our team since 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Prior to joining our practice, Shannon served as the head of the Insulin Pump Program at the University of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2018. During that time, she played a key role in transitioning younger patients with type 1 diabetes into adult endocrinology care, helping to bridge the gap in continuity and education during this critical phase. Shannon brings extensive clinical experience in the management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as gestational diabetes. She has advanced expertise in the interpretation and use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technology, allowing her to provide precise, patient-tailored treatment plans. She lives in Mantua, NJ with her husband and three children, and is dedicated to helping her patients lead healthier, more empowered lives.
